Integrated Wellness, Luxury Hospitality & A Life Well Lived

Welcome to Fit with Alessia — a space where wellness meets lifestyle, travel and the experiences that can make us feel our best.

I’m Alessia, an Integrated Wellness Practitioner working in luxury hospitality, with a passion for wellness, movement, travel and sharing ideas that can make everyday life feel a little better.

My work has taken me beyond traditional fitness and into the wider world of integrated wellness, from movement and Pilates to recovery, spa and wellbeing experiences, wellness technology and the increasingly fascinating world of luxury wellness hospitality.

This blog is where I bring all of those interests together.

From Fitness to Integrated Wellness

me working in fitness

My professional background began in fitness, where I trained as a Personal Trainer and Reformer Pilates Instructor and developed experience across exercise, movement, nutrition and lifestyle. While these foundations remain an important part of how I understand wellness, my career has naturally evolved towards a much broader approach through my work in luxury wellness hospitality.

Working in this environment has given me a completely different perspective on what wellness can look like, because it can involve far more than exercise; it might be a Pilates session followed by recovery, a wellness consultation, a spa experience, a personalised programme, a sleep-focused routine, a new recovery technology, a nutritious meal or simply creating the space to slow down and reconnect with yourself.

This is the side of wellness that I increasingly want to explore and share here.

My Approach to Wellness

Wellness should help you live better, rather than give you another list of things to worry about.

I don’t think wellness should become another thing we have to be perfect at, especially when we are already surrounded by endless information about diets, supplements, workouts, recovery tools, biohacking trends, wellness retreats and health trackers.

I prefer to stay curious while keeping things practical, exploring what is genuinely useful, what is worth trying and what can realistically fit into everyday life. Sometimes that might mean discovering a new wellness treatment or technology, while at other times it might simply mean going for a walk, getting enough sleep or having dinner with friends instead of trying to optimise every part of your day.

Ultimately, I believe wellness should help you live better rather than give you another list of things to worry about.

My training spans movement, fitness, nutrition and integrated wellness, giving me a broad foundation from which to explore the different aspects of wellbeing that I share on this website.

My qualifications include:

  • Integrated Wellness Practitioner
  • Level 3 Personal Trainer
  • Level 3 Reformer Pilates Instructor
  • Optimum Nutrition for Health and Performance

Professional Experience

Integrated Wellness Practitioner — Luxury Hospitality

I currently work within luxury wellness hospitality, where my experience extends beyond traditional fitness into personalised wellness experiences, movement, recovery, spa and emerging wellness technologies. Being part of this environment has given me a broader perspective on how wellness is becoming an increasingly important part of the luxury hospitality experience.

My qualifications don’t mean I have all the answers, and I don’t think anyone does. They give me a professional foundation from which I can continue to learn, research and share information responsibly.

Out of the ordinary experiences

My Work in Luxury Wellness Hospitality

One of the most exciting parts of my career is working within the luxury hospitality and wellness industry, where I get to experience first-hand how quickly the concept of wellness is evolving.

Wellness is no longer simply a spa treatment at the end of a hotel stay; it is increasingly becoming part of the entire guest experience, from fitness and Pilates to personalised wellness programmes, recovery technology, nutrition, sleep and preventative health.

I’m fascinated by how luxury hospitality is increasingly asking a very simple question:

How can we make people feel better?

This is an area I’m particularly passionate about, and one I want to explore more through this blog, whether that means discovering new wellness destinations, looking at the brands shaping the industry or exploring the technologies and experiences that are changing the way we think about wellbeing.

Why I Love Writing About Wellness

Writing gives me the opportunity to explore the subjects I’m curious about and share them in a way that feels approachable rather than overwhelming. I don’t want Fit with Alessia to become another website telling you that you need to wake up at 5am, drink a green juice, meditate for 30 minutes and complete a two-hour workout before breakfast; those things might work beautifully for one person but be completely unrealistic for another.

Instead, I want to explore the bigger picture of wellbeing, from why certain habits make us feel better and why people are increasingly travelling specifically for wellness, to why luxury hotels are investing in recovery and fitness technology and how we can create routines that actually fit around busy lives.

And perhaps most importantly, I want to explore the question that sits behind so much of what I write:
What genuinely makes us feel good?

Welcome to Fit with Alessia

Whether you’re here because you’re interested in wellness, fitness, nutrition, luxury travel, Pilates, recovery or simply finding ways to feel better in everyday life, welcome.

I hope you find something here that inspires you, teaches you something new or makes you want to try something for yourself. Perhaps you’ll discover a destination you’d love to visit, a wellness experience you’ve never considered or a small habit that eventually becomes part of your everyday life.

Because ultimately, wellness isn’t about creating the perfect lifestyle; it’s about creating a life that feels good to live.
